Abstract

This comprehensive project explores the Islamic perspective on drug abuse among young Muslim women in Maiduguri. It examines the nature and types of drugs, their effects on health, and the moral and spiritual implications within Islamic teachings. The study highlights the alarming rise of drug misuse in this demographic, influenced by socio-economic and cultural pressures. Drawing on Islamic sources-Qur'an, Hadith, scholarly consensus, and jurisprudence - the research underscores the prohibition.
