DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ENHANCED ONLINE FLIGHT RESERVATION SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF DANA AIR)
Abstract
Design and Implementation of an enhanced online flight reservation system for Dana Air, is aimed at developing an online flight reservation system for Dana Air, which digitalizes and answers difficulties, confronted by the manual flight reservation system and support in positioning the Dana Air to meet its incessant increasing demands. The frequency at which manual flight reservation system has occurred in the recent past, motivated this research. Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) was used in analyzing and designing the system. The outcome of this research is a thorough implementation of how online flight reservation system can be used to acquire flight schedules, book a flight, customers feedback, contact the airline, and so on, in their remote areas. Django Python Framework, HTML and CSS is used for the front-end of the software. While for the back-end, Python Programming Language is used for the implementation of the system while SQLite3 is ideal for the database.
