Abstract

Church online streaming and information system is a web-based application design to stream video online and to store and retrieve information. Currently in Christ Ambassadors Students Outreach (CASOR), most members who are unable to attend church program or activity due to inevitable circumstances and wish to partake in the program have no means of doing so and there is no proper documentation of booking forms such as child dedication, wedding ceremony, etc. So, this project involves a careful study of an existing manual system to design and implement a church online streaming and information system that will take over from the old system. The new system was developed in the high-level language on the web server using HTML, PHP, and CSS with a little JavaScript for animations. The methodology of SSADM (structured system analysis and design methodology) was used and the method of data collection used by the researcher in course of analyzing the existing system is the interview and observation methods. Most of which the new system will solve the problem faced in the current system. The main benefit of the new system includes; enabling members watch or listen to the sermons or activities in the church program using their laptops or mobile phones from the comfort of their location in real time. The new system will take care of the manual system of documenting information with pen and paper and also, the stress of coming down to the church before you can get information, listen to sermons, etc.
