Abstract

ABSTRACT Managing lost and found items in many campuses is often inefficient due to manual processes and limited tracking systems. This project presents a web-based solution to streamline the reporting, searching, and retrieval of lost items. Developed with React.js, Node.js, and MySQL, the system provides real-time updates, advanced search, and user notifications. Using the Agile methodology, it was designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and user engagement, addressing the shortcomings of traditional manual systems and enhancing campus item recovery.
