ALUMNI MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Alumni Management System is designed to enhance communication, engagement, and collaboration between universities, their alumni, and current students. This system addresses the gap in interaction post-graduation, offering a platform for mentorship, networking, and resource sharing. The project was developed using a combination of web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, with Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology ensuring efficient implementation.
The system enables alumni to stay connected with their alma mater and fellow graduates while providing students access to mentorship and career opportunities. Key functionalities include private and group messaging, project tracking, event management, fundraising, and real-time updates. Rigorous testing ensured usability, reliability, and security, with features like encrypted user authentication.
The study highlights the importance of maintaining alumni relations for mutual growth and institutional development, providing a scalable and adaptable solution for future enhancements such as mobile application integration.
