Abstract

This information is more than funny cat videos; they share views and opinions; tips, tricks, and even projects; and, among students, helpful information for classes. Their ability to access, analyse, retain and share information is skyrocketing and they often do not even realise they are developing these skills. Only people bom before the Internet was invented are likely to understand the magnitude of this new style of communication (Hargittai, 2010). Cyber bullying is deliberately using digital media to communicate false, embarrassing, or hostile information about another person. It is the most common online risk for all teens and is a peer-to-peer risk. Although “online harassment” is often used interchangeably with the term “cyber bullying,” it is actually a different entity.
