STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING TEAMWORK BY OFFICE WORKER’S IN ESTABLISHMENT IN IDAH, KOGI STATE.
Abstract
This project study was aimed at examine the Strategies for Improving Teamwork by Office Worker’s in Establishment in Idah, Kogi State. In carrying out this research work, four major purposes were studied; Emotional Intelligence strategies for Improving Teamwork, Communication Strategies for Improving Teamwork, Self Development Strategies for Improving Teamwork, Motivational Strategies for Improving Teamwork. Based on the literature review, the following findings were made; that the factors associated with Teamwork on Office Workers in Federal Polytechnic Idah include: Increase Employees, Greater productivity and better problem solving at work. Based on the findings the researcher recommended that the management of Federal Polytechnic Idah should ensure that the communication structure is well aligned to all the staff. Employees’ compensation should be well managed by the human Resources as the staff are motivated by the compensation that. The institution has systems in place on how to mitigate against internal environmental changes through enhancing the right culture.
