Abstract

This project, therefore, seeks to address lowering the energy usage of a data center with heterogeneous power awareness either in an idle server state or high-performance state using an hybridized algorithm comprising ofDynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DvFs), Median Absolute Deviation and Median Utilization (MadMu), and Local Regression Minimum Utilization (LrMu).These are real-world datasets from PlanetLab, consisting of Virtual Machines (VMs), and hosts were simulated in a data center using CloudSim 3.0.3. A toolkit with preset parameters, including VM Allocation Policy and VM Selection Policy, was employed to create the cloud infrastructure and replicate key cloud environment features. The CloudSim framework was installed on Eclipse IDE 2024 and run on the Windows 10 operating system
