Samples of one hundred and eighty (180) respondents were involved in the study using simple random sampling technique. The research questions were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency counts and percentages scores while the test of hypothesis was carried out using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) statistics at 0.05 level of significant. The analysis revealed that the Biology curriculum contents were not fully covered and it fails below the recommendation standard by Federal Ministry of Education. The study also indicated that most of the Biology teachers do not meet the recommended standard of at least two periods per week for practical work in Biology given by the Federal Ministry of Education which shows that the period for practical work in Biology was low. It was concluded that Biology curriculum contents were not fully covered. It was also concluded that most of the schools do not meet that recommendation standard of at least two periods per week for practical work in Biology. It is recommended that Biology teacher should intensify efforts to see that the Biology curriculum contents are covered and implemented. It is also recommended that periods for practical aspect should be clearly indicated on the school time-table and the school management should ensure that such periods are not diverted to other things but strictly biology practical in the laboratory.
