Abstract

The ABO blood group system has been associated with various physiological and pathological conditions, including metabolic and renal function. This study investigated the relationship between ABO blood groups and selected biochemical markers serum creatinine (SCr), serum uric acid (SUA) in healthy individuals. A total of 100 participants were recruited, comprising 14% males and 86% females. Participants were classified by blood group: A (n=18), B (n=18), AB (n=10), and O (n=54). Serum creatinine and uric acid levels were measured, and their ratio was calculated. Data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS) version 25, with significant difference set at p
