MULTI FACTOR AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM
Abstract
This project titled Multifactor Authentication System was undertaken to address the issue of infiltration of personal data, cyber threats, and smoother authentication and verification experience. It also has the objective of trusting technological security systems. The research involved a comprehensive review of existing systems and methodologies, followed by a detailed analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement. The Waterfall Methodology was adopted to create the system and it was done using programming languages like: HTML/CSS, JavaScript that met the outlined objectives in terms of functionality, usability, and performance. The implementation phase included the design of an interface that stored user input through session and local storage and thorough testing to ensure accuracy and reliability. Feedback from user testing was also integrated into the final iteration to enhance the overall user experience. The overall result gotten from the system was an easy implementation of data and information security and user convenience. Therefore, the system designed was made as a foundation for future enhancements and research on the necessity of self-security and user friendliness.
