Abstract

ABSTRACT This study explores methods to encourage students to memorize the Qur'an using a web-based application. The web app was designed to assist with scheduling Qur'an recitation sessions and was developed specifically for UTHAIMIN MEMORIZATION ACADEMY GUSAU. The Qur'an is the central holy book in Islam, and memorizing it is of great importance. However, traditional methods in Qur'anic schools are becoming less effective for the younger generation, necessitating alternative approaches to facilitate memorization. Mobile learning offers a modern alternative to support traditional methods, as mobile devices have quickly influenced educational practices. For mobile learning to be successful in helping children memorize the Qur'an, specific design guidelines and pedagogical approaches must be developed. This paper presents a framework for designing a web application for Qur'an memorization scheduling. Keywords: Qur'an Memorization, Mobile Learning.
