THE CORROSION OF ALUMINUM IN NAOH SOLUTION IN THE PRESENCE OF DELONIX REGIA EXTRACT
Abstract
The corrosion Inhibition of aluminum in NaOH solution in the presence of Delonix Regia extract was investigated using weight loss method, DELONIX REGIA extract exhibited maximum Inhibition efficiency of 95%. Generally it was investigated 'that the Inhibition efficiency increases with increasing concentration of the plant extract solution. This research work shows that DELONIX REGIA extract act as an effective corrosion inhibitor for Aluminum in NaOH solution.
