DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF 3.5KVA INVERTER
Abstract
The need for altemative power supply has led to the invention of power inverter. This is used in case of any pofver failure. Chapter one of this report discusses brief introduction to Inverter where the scope of the project was incorporated.
Different categories of Inverters (thyristor Inverter) were discussed.More light was shed on the background of inverter. The power inverter has been proved to be very important mostly to serve as back-up for our business centre. The design and construction of the project was detailed in Chapter three where different components were tested and brought together to make up the inverter. Chapter four produced broad knowledge on troubleshooting the system during fault, likely faults and their remedies.Maintenance of the system was not left out.
