Abstract

This study examined the impact of house management on audience satisfaction in AKSUFEST 2023-2024, focusing on how operational efficiency and audience engagement strategies influence the festival's success. Chapter One provided a detailed introduction, outlining the background to the study, the research problem, objectives, and significance, alongside defining key terms. It emphasized the central role of house management in ensuring audience satisfaction, particularly in large-scale events like AKSUFEST. Chapter Two explored relevant literature, offering a conceptual framework for understanding house management and linking it to audience satisfaction, supported by theoretical insights. The study adopted a qualitative research design in Chapter Three, using expert interviews and observational methods for data collection and analysis. Chapter Four presented and analyzed findings from interviews with house management experts, highlighting the importance of well-coordinated front-of-house operations, such as ticketing, ushering, and seating arrangements, in enhancing audience comfort and engagement. Key findings revealed that the strategic implementation of house management practices during AKSUFEST significantly improved attendee satisfaction and loyalty. Finally, Chapter Five summarizes these insights, concluding that effective house management is critical to successful event delivery and providing actionable recommendations for future festivals to sustain audience satisfaction.
