PASSIVE VENTILATION IN HOSTELS IN RESIDENTIAL HOSTEL
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Effective passive ventilation in hostels in tertiary institutions is an important consideration in architectural construction when it comes to ensuring energy and resource conservation, and also ensuring thermal comfort for the students. In recent times, there have been steadily rising concerns surrounding carbon emissions, as well as uncomfortable living situations due to high temperatures. This study evaluated ways to effectively introduce effective passive ventilation into school hostels,
specifically in the Godfrey Okoye University Campus, Thinkers Corner, Enugu, as well as its

research methods to improve on it in areas where it was found
