DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF 2KVA SPOT WELDING MACHINE
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Spot welding machines play a crucial role in various industries, including automotive, aerospace and manufacturing. In the previous review on “Experimental Investigation of Spot Welding”. The main emphasis was the effect of different input parameter of resistance spot welding on the weld quality, poor maintenance accessibility inconsistent weld quality, that reduced productivity. This project presents an overview and improvement of spot-welding machines parameters, highlighting their principles, components, and operational parameters. The result obtains show the improvement and advancements in control systems, electrode design, and automation technologies, showcasing improvements in welding efficiency, accuracy, and reliability, the require welding current obtain ranges from 50A to 100A is sufficient for welding sheet metals. In conclusion the parameters were improve by introducing a mechanism that can vary the input voltage so we can obtain the require current.
