KNOWLEDGE OF CERVICAL CANCER AND UTILIZATION OF CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING AMONG WOMEN IN RUMOKORO MARKET,OBIO AKPOR RIVERS STATE.
Abstract
The study was aimed at investigating knowledge of cervical cancer and utilization of cervical cancer screening in Rumokoro market, Obio-Akpor Rivers state.To accomplish the purpose,nine(9) specific Purposes, nine(9) research questions and Five (5) null hypotheses formulated to guide the study.Cross sectional descriptive survey was adopted for this study. Cross-sectional descriptive design was adopted for this study. The population consisted of 233 Registered Market women in Rumokoro Market. A sample size of 200 women was used for the study . A proportionate sampling technique was used to select respondents for instruments adminstration. A self-structured and validated questionniare was used for data collection from the respondents.
