ABSTRACT
This project title “Analyses of variance on the effects of different fertilizers on ginger production in Farman, Zangon Kataf Local government Area Kaduna state”. This study was carried out to know the effective differences of fertilizers, to compare six different method of applying fertilizer, to compare their output and to draw conclusion on how to improve ginger production in our society. This study was carried out at Farman, Zangon Local government Area Kaduna state. The estimated sample size was 4 stems and it was selected by random selection. The method of data collection in this research work is observation method. The data collected was analyzed using one way ANOVA. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was discovered that F calculated is > F tabulated i.e.49.111 > 0.001, hence we reject (Ho) null hypothesis and conclude that there is significance difference at 5% level of significance. It is recommended that Government should provide incentives and endeavor to make farming attractive enough in order to induce the peasant farmers to produce more farm produce that will meet the market demand of such items. Since the substantial amount of our Nigerian money comes from the peasant farmers.
