EFFECT OF INSURGENCY ON THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENT'S IN SOME SELECTED SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF MAIDUGURI METROPOLIS
Abstract
This is a survey research that investigate the effect of student performance in maiduguri metropolitan secondary schools. The study was organized into five (5) chapters, chapter one presented the introduction, background of the study, statement of the problem, research questions, objectives of the study, statement of the hypothesis, significant of the study, scope of the study, definition of operational terms and acronyms.
Chapter two also presented the view of related literature by some researchers and educationlist covering the theoretical frame work, the concept of insecurity and it effect on student's performance. Chapter three consists of the research design, population of the study, sample of the study, sampling technique, method of data collection, technique for data analysis. Chapter four also presented the data analysis, result and discussion of findings. While chapter five, covered summary, conclusion and recommendations.
