Abstract

ABSTRACT This stody inveangeed the Physochemical Soreeming and Ansi bacserial maly of tead exoret of Pridram Conysvs, it cee type of medw imal phant that has many benafins sead is foaed us mamy parts of Nogena The phytochomanl smeening of Pusfiam Chnjecs extract teveaied the presence of carbohydrate, flavemonds, tannons, cardisc glycoades, terpeneuds while andrsegeitomes and alkalouds were sloent. Antimicrobual activities against eight tested bacterial trgna M concentratioes ef 50,100,and 200 mg/ml, with all bacterial strnins being msmand siongeele Cipeeflokacen under identical expenmental conditions Notably,Kiebsslla prvumonise eehuhoed the highest antimicrobial activity among the tested macroorganismns, with an inhibbition some measuring 15.20x0.22 mm at a concentration of 200 mg/ml of Pxidium Citatgrv leaf extract. This was followed closely by Escherichia colt, which displayed a similar level of inhibition at 15 02 a 0.31 mm,also at the highest concentration However, fangi like Aspergillus niger and some Gram-positive bacteria showed resistance at lower concentrations The antimicrobial effectiveness of Psidium Guajava extract was compared to standard dfrugs.Ciprofloxacin (CIP) and Ketoconazole In general,Ciprofloxacin demonstrated strong antibacterial activity against all tested strains, with inhibition zones ranging from 23.01 ±0.01 mm to 30 00±0.00mm,while Ketoconazole showed effective antifungal properties, particularly against Candida albicans, which exhibited an inhibition zone of 24 00±0.00 mm.
