DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTING OF BLOCK CHAIN FOR SECURE DATA SHARING
Abstract
ABSTRACT
In the era of digital transformation, secure and tamper-proof data sharing has become a critical challenge across industries. Traditional centralized systems are vulnerable to data breaches, unauthorized access, and single points of failure. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized, immutable, and cryptographically secure architecture, presents a promising solution for enhancing data integrity, transparency, and trust in sharing mechanisms. This project focuses on designing and implementing a blockchain-based framework for secure data sharing. The system leverages smart contracts to automate access control, ensuring only authorized users can retrieve or modify data. A permissioned blockchain model is adopted to balance transparency with privacy, while cryptographic techniques such as hashing and digital signatures further enhance security. The proposed implementation utilizes Hyperledger Fabric (for enterprise applications) or Ethereum (for public use cases) to demonstrate real-world feasibility.
