Abstract

ABSTRACT In the process of managing prisoners’ information in most Nigerian prisons, it has been found that records are kept manually. This leads to a very inefficient and time-consuming process. To tackle these found challenges, an online prisoners’ information management system was developed as the aim of this project. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap for the user interface implementation while PHP and MySQL were used for the backend and database management. This system automated the prisoners’ information management process for administrators and highly reduced data error rate.
