Abstract
ABSTRACT
The project is Providing Geospatial Solution to Ground rent problem in FED. Low Cost Housing Offa-meta, Oyo East L.G.A, Oyo, Oyo state. The project involves the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) in term of ownership, use, status, and values. The geometric data was acquired using GNSS receivers (South Galaxy). The attributes data were obtained through one on one interview and social survey. Following that, the data was downloaded and processed using a computer system, which involves database creation; Autocad was used for drafting of the geometric data which was exported to ArcGIS to link with the attribute data for spatial Analysis and queries. These form suitable decision support tool for managing the scheme (Federal Low Cost Housing Offa-meta) spatially. The information was shown using graphs and charts form both in hardcopy and softcopy. Finally, a comprehensive report.
