THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ON ORGANISATIONAL STABILITY (A STUDY OF POLARIS BANK PLC, ERUWA)
Abstract
This study was conducted through the use of a descriptive design. A descriptive study
attempts to describe or define a subject, often by creating a profile of a group of
problems, people, or events, through the collection of data and tabulation of the
frequencies on research variables or their interaction as indicated by Cooper and
Schindler (2003).
Descriptive research portrays an accurate profile of persons, events, or situations
(Kothari, 2000). The choice of the descriptive survey research design was made based
on the fact that in the study, the research was interested on the state of affairs already
existing in the field and no variable was manipulated.
