This study aims to understand the challenges faced by private radio and television stations in northern Maiduguri and why these problems occur, and what they are doing to solve them. To find out the Problems also quantitative research method was used with interviews with people who work in private Broadcast media in northern Maiduguri. The study reveals that private broadcast media in northern Maiduguri face many challenges. These include difficulties with regulatory bodies, strict government rules, technical problems, financial struggles, and staffing issues. These challenges make it hard for them to operate effectively and provide quality services to their audience. Based on our findings, we recommend that the government reviews its regulations to make it easier for private broadcast media to operate. By addressing these issues, we can create a better environment for private broadcast media to thrive in northern Maiduguri, providing quality information and entertainment to the community.
