DESIGN AND INTERGRATION OF SOLAR POWER WITH ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) has led to a surge in the construction of EV charging stations. However, most of these stations rely on the grid for power, which is often generated from fossil fuels. This project aims to design and integrate a solar-powered EV charging station that can provide a sustainable and renewable source of energy for EVs. The project involves the design and development of a solar power system, battery bank, and EV charging station, as well as the integration of these components into a single system. The project also includes the testing and evaluation of the system to ensure its technical and economic feasibility. The results of the project show that the solar-powered EV charging station can provide a reliable and efficient source of energy for EVs, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable transportation.
