Abstract

This projectfocuses on the design and implementation of an online-based student loan scheme for Borno State University. The aim is to provide an efficient digital platform that enables students to apply for loans easily, while also helping the institution track, evaluate, and manage loan applications. The system addresses challenges such as manual paperwork, delays, lack of transparency, and difficulty in monitoring loan repayment. The proposed system was designed using modern software development tools, adopting a structured methodology to ensure reliability and user-friendliness. The result is an online platform that allows student registration, loan application, verification, approval, notification, and repayment tracking. The system enhances transparency, reduces human error, and improves accessibilityfor all stakeholders.
