Abstract

This study explores the level of women participation in broadcasting in Bauchi State and examines how gender, political economy, and mass communication influence their involvement in the media industry. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with broadcasting professionals. The findings reveal that although women contribute significantly to broadcasting, their participation is often limited by socio-cultural barriers, organizational policies, and economic challenges.
