GOBOOKHUB: DEVELOPMENT OF AN ONLINE BOOKSTORE FOR GODFREY OKOYE UNIVERSITY
Abstract
The emergence of information technology has indeed made lots of things easier from the old traditional way of doing them. However, there is no doubt that we can achieve a lot using some developed tools to change the traditional way of selling books to the university staff and students. This study aims to develop an online bookstore made for Godfrey Okoye University's bookshop, this online store is where students, as well as staff, can purchase and rent any book seamlessly. This system is developed using React.Js for the frontend implementation, Express.js for the backend, and MongoDB as the database for the system among other packages deployed for building the system. It is a web-based application that can run on any browser.
