COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PROTEIN CONTENT IN WHITE BEAN AND SOYA BEAN SAMPLE FROM KATAGUM MARKET
Abstract
This study aims to compare the protein content in white bean and soya bean samples
collected from Katagum Market. Beans are known for their high protein content, which
plays a significant role in human nutrition. The samples were processed and analyzed
using standard protein estimation methods. Results showed that soya beans had a
significantly higher protein content compared to white beans. This information is
valuable for consumers and nutritionists looking to make informed decisions about
dietary choices based on protein intake. Further research could explore other nutritional
components and different bean varieties from the same market.
