DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF DIGITAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION SYSTEM CONTROL SYSTEM
Abstract
Abstract
The Digital Energy Consumption Control System is designed to monitor, measure, and control the amount of electrical energy consumed by electrical appliances in homes or industries. The increasing demand for electrical energy and the need to reduce energy wastage have made it necessary to develop a system that can effectively manage power consumption.
This project focuses on the design and construction of a digital system capable of measuring energy usage and controlling electrical loads automatically. The system uses electronic components such as a microcontroller, current sensor, voltage sensor, relay module, and digital display to monitor energy consumption in real time. The measured energy data is processed by the microcontroller and displayed on a digital screen for easy monitoring by the user.
The system is also designed to disconnect or control electrical loads when the energy consumption exceeds a preset limit, thereby preventing excessive energy usage and reducing electricity costs. This helps improve energy efficiency and promotes better energy management.
The developed system provides a reliable, accurate, and cost-effective solution for monitoring and controlling energy consumption. It can be applied in residential buildings, offices, and small industries to improve power management and reduce unnecessary energy loss. The project demonstrates how digital technology can be used to enhance energy monitoring and control systems for better energy conservation.
