Abstract

ABSTRACT Efficient inventory management is critical for businesses to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce losses, and improve operational efficiency. This study presents the design and implementation of a real-time Inventory Tracking System that enables accurate monitoring, management, and visualizationofinventory data. The system captures essential information such as product type, quantity, location, and supplier details, and provides automated updates to reflect current stock levels. Developed as a web-based application using PHP and Python, the system features interactive dashboards, alert notifications for low stock, and exportable reports in CSV format. It also incorporates data visualization techniques to present inventory trends and usage patterns, aiding in informed decision-making.Testing and evaluation confirm the system's effectiveness in maintaining accurate records, predicting potential stock shortages, and improving overall inventory control. This research demonstrates the potential of technology-driven solutions in enhancing transparency, efficiency, and reliability in inventory management.
