Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this assignment was to examine the many elements of a legally acceptable will. By conducting case studies and doing a comprehensive analysis of the laws governing national wills, I successfully generated an outstanding research paper. According to the gathered data, it seems that there is a need for increased public education regarding these matters in order to improve communication from the testator, who is the person writing the will, to whomever they wish to include in it. The distribution of a deceased individual's assets is a common source of conflict within families, even in contemporary times. My work aims to address these concerns and determine a lawful and appropriate method for the testator to distribute their properties. In Nigeria, there is a lack of emphasis on the importance of making a will. However, one of the most common problems that continues to cause conflict within families is the inheritance of a deceased person's property. The purpose of my work is to address and resolve these issues by providing a meaningful and legally sound way for individuals to distribute their properties according to their own wishes.
