Abstract

This project presents the design and implementation of a university alumni networking website aimed at fostering lifelong engagement among graduates, students, and academic institutions. Recognizing the limitations of traditional alumni interaction methods, such as physical reunions and email newsletter, this study leverages modern web technologies to build a scalable, user-friendly, and secure digital platform. The website incorporates essential features including verified alumni authentication, real-time communication tools, career support, mentorship programs, and event management systems. Developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and implemented with React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB, the platform promotes continuous connection, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. The solution also addresses key challenges such as data security, user engagement, and system scalability. Evaluation results confirmed the system's usability, performance, and potential to enhance alumni relations and institutional development. This work contributes to the field of educational technology by demonstrating how digital platforms can bridge the gap between past and present university communities, supporting long-term institutional goals and alumni success
