Abstract

hich non-managerial personnel learns technical knowledge and skills for a definite purpose. Thus, training is specific and directional. Fajana (2024) views training as the process that involves developing skills and learning concepts, rules, or attitudes to increase the effectiveness in a particular job. Armstrong (2023) defines training as the formal and systematic modification of behavior through learning which occurs because of education, instruction, development, and planned experience. Thus, from the above, we can confidently conclude that while training is designed for non-managerial personnel, developments are designed for managerial personnel. Human resources training and development specialists coordinate new staff orientation, a fundamental step in establishing a strong relationship between employer and employee
