Abstract

This study examined the effect of reward management on organizational performance using Nigerian Breweries Plc, 9th Mile Corner, Enugu as a case study. The objective was to determine how reward systems such as financial incentives, recognition, and employee benefits influence workers’ motivation, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness. A descriptive survey research design was adopted, and data were collected through questionnaires administered to employees of the organization. The findings revealed that effective reward management significantly improves employee motivation, commitment, and productivity, which in turn enhances organizational performance. The study concludes that organizations that implement fair, competitive, and well-structured reward systems are more likely to achieve higher performance levels. It recommends that management should continuously review and improve reward policies to ensure they align with employees’ expectations and organizational goals.
