Abstract

This report presents the findings from a comprehensive geophysical investigation conducted at the site, utilizing both seismic refraction and electrical resistivity surveys to assess subsurface stratigraphy and geotechnical properties. The seismic refraction method effectively delineated multiple refracting horizons, revealing significant variations in seismic velocities and densities across different layers. Concurrently, the electrical resistivity survey provided complementary data on the subsurface's resistive characteristics, enhancing the overall understanding of geological conditions. The integration of these methodologies allowed for a more robust interpretation of subsurface features, which is critical for informing engineering design and construction practices. Recommendations for further investigations, including additional geophysical methods and longitudinal monitoring, are provided to ensure a comprehensive understanding of subsurface lithology conditions and to enhance the safety and stability of future enviromental assessment projects.
