THE INFLUENCE OF E-LEARNING FACILITIES ON EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CURRICULUM IMPLEMENTATION IN UNIVERSITY OF CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA
Abstract
This study investigates the influence of e-learning facilities on the implementation of the educational technology curriculum at the University of Cross River State, Nigeria. It examines how the availability and quality of digital learning tools, online platforms, and technological resources affect teaching and learning outcomes. Data were collected from lecturers and students using structured questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics such as frequencies and percentages. The findings indicate that adequate e-learning facilities enhance curriculum delivery, improve student engagement, and support effective teaching practices, while limited or poorly maintained facilities hinder implementation. The study recommends increased investment in e-learning infrastructure, staff training, and regular maintenance of digital resources to improve curriculum outcomes. The research provides insights for policymakers and educational administrators aiming to strengthen technology-based education in Nigerian universities.
