Abstract

This project report describes the design and implementation of an Electoral Analysis System to tackle challenges in Nigeria’s electoral process, such as result manipulation and lack of transparency. Using accessible tools like Excel, Power BI, and Python, the system cleans, analyses, and visualizes presidential election data through interactive dashboards and trend analyses, with basic predictive modelling using logistic regression. Following structured phases from design to evaluation, the system effectively summarizes voting patterns and party performance across election cycles, helping both technical and non-technical users. The project concludes that a modular, adaptable approach can boost electoral transparency and public trust, recommending improvements in data availability, real-time integration, and stakeholder capacity to advance election integrity
