Abstract

ABSTRACT This studyexamines the impact labour turnover on organizational performance. The research employed a quantitative approach, distributing 236questionnaires to employees, with 202 valid responses analyzed. Descriptive statistics were used to profile the respondents’ demographic characteristics, including gender, age, educational qualifications, and work experience. Hypotheses were tested using simple linear regression analysis to determine the relationships between work conditions, pay levels, firm instability, and organizational performance. The results indicated a significant negative relationship between poor work conditions and organizational performance, accounting for approximately 32% of the variance in performance. Similarly, inadequate pay levels were found to negatively impact organizational performance, explaining about 34% of the variance. Firm instability had the most pronounced effect, with 76% of the variance in organizational performance attributed to this factor. These findings highlight that deteriorating work conditions, insufficient pay, and firm instability contribute to decreased organizational performance. The study concludes that improving work conditions and pay levels, as well as addressing firm instability, are essential for enhancing organizational performance. The negative impacts of these factors underscore the need for strategic interventions to stabilize and improve organizational efficiency.Organizations should implement measures to improve work conditions and offer competitive compensation packages. Addressing the factors contributing to firm instability through effective management and strategic planning is also crucial. Creating a supportive work environment and ensuring financial stability are recommended to optimize performance and employee satisfaction.
