Abstract

This study examines the transition from manual to electronic voting systems, specifically focusing on the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) . Using a doctrinal research methodology, the work analyzes how BVAS ensures security and transparency through facial and fingerprint authentication . While the system has faced technical challenges such as network issues and biometric failures, the findings suggest a high level of public optimism and a significant improvement over traditional paper ballot systems.
