ANDROID-BASED LOCAL MARKET PRICE CONTROL AND E-SHOPPING SUSTEM WITH REAL-TIME PRICE INTEGRATION
Abstract
This project presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a web-based Local Market E-commerce platform tailored to support small-scale vendors and local business environments. The system enables essential e-commerce functionalities such as product browsing, cart management, and order checkout in a responsive and user-friendly interface. Comprehensive testing was conducted using black-box methods across various devices and browsers to assess performance metrics including responsiveness, system availability, transaction accuracy, and user interface consistency. The results showed that the system handled valid and invalid inputs effectively, maintained data integrity, and operated without crashes or significant delays. Functional evaluations of critical modules such as cart operations and checkout processes confirmed real-time updates and accurate transaction summaries. The system consistently delivered sub-second response times, with a 100% success rate for valid operations and effective error handling. The discussion highlighted the platform's readiness for public deployment, while also noting potential enhancements such as login integration, payment gateways, and inventory management to elevate the system into a fully operational commercial tool. The project concludes by affirming the feasibility of lightweight, scalable e-commerce platforms for local markets and recommends additional testing under real-world conditions and mobile environments. The system offers a solid foundation for future growth and digital empowerment of community-based commerce.
