EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS INSECTICIDES (CHLORPYRIFOS) ON CHOLESTROL, TRIGLYCERIDES AND VERY LOW-DENSITY LIPOPROTEINS(VLDL) LEVELS IN ALBINO RATS TREATED WITH INSECTICIDES
Abstract
The lipid profile levels in albino rats treated with insecticide were evaluated. A total of 41 albino rats were used .16 were divided into four groups with each groups consisting of four rats each. Each groups were fed with 100ml/kg ,150ml/kg ,200ml/kg and 250ml/kg of insecticide respectively , to obtain the lethal dose. While , the remaining 25 rats were fed with growers feed and water.Serum obtained was determined as follows , triglycerides , total cholesterol and very low density lipoprotein .
