PROJECT SUPERVISOR ALLOCATION AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
This project aims to design and implement a web-based Project Supervisor
Allocation and Management System to address the challenges faced by tertiary
institutions in manually allocating final-year students to their project
supervisors. The proposed system will store eligible student details in a
database and use major constraints, such as the approved project topic, to
assign students to supervisors in their related field of specialty. Using the
resource allocation algorithm, the new system will offer a more systematic and
organized approach to the allocation process between students and supervisors,
reducing the time taken to register for a project and ensuring that students are
matched with the appropriate supervisor to guide them during their project
process
