Abstract

The Saki Local Government Area (LGA) in Oyo State, Nigeria, has a rich history of Islamic influence, significantly shaped by the efforts of various Sufi scholars. Despite the widespread presence of Islam in the region, there is a noticeable gap in comprehensive documentation and understanding of the specific contributions made by these Sufi scholars in the propagation of Islam. The lack of detailed historical records and scholarly analysis of their efforts creates a challenge for both historical preservation and contemporary religious studies.
