SIMULATION OF SMART 4.2KVA 24V SOLAR POWER SYSTEM USING MATLAB/SIMULINK
Abstract
This study uses MATLAB/Simulink to simulate a smart 4.2kVA, 24V solar power system. Photovoltaic (PV) panels, a smart inverter with configurable voltage outputs, battery storage, and a Perturb and Observe (P&O) MPPT-controlled boost converter are all integrated into the system. Voltage regulation is ensured by a PI feedback controller, and the inverter can handle two loads totaling 5.6kW. The system's responsiveness under dynamic settings was confirmed by the simulation's clean sinusoidal output, low total harmonic distortion (
