Abstract
The present study was conducted to extract and evaluate formulated herbal shampoo and to assess the phytochemicals of the plant extracts and its hysiochemical function that emphasis on safety, eliminating harmful ingredient, and substitute with safe natural ingredients. The formulation was prepared using the extracts of Neem leaves, Rosemary leaves and Hibiscus leaves using Ethanol as the solvent. The phytochemical analysis confirms the presence of alkaloids, phenol, saponins, tannins, glycosides and flavonoids in respective extract which indicates prominent properties like antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory. Evaluations of physicochemical tests of the formulated shampoo results shown are: Colour: dark green, Odour: sweet smell, Appearance: viscose, foaming index: 32ml,Dirt dispersion: medium, Wetting time: 84sec-118sec, pH: 6.3, Solid content: 26.6%, Surface tension: 35.37dynes/cm. These results indicated that this can be
used as a potential alternative for cleaning and managing hair naturally and effective way instead of synthetic source
