The study pointed out that the menace of Boko Haram is gradually subsiding but with pockets of attacks in suicide mission, it is also evident that poverty remains the major factor that hatched Boko Haram and the government is not helping matters. Furthermore, the study also indicates that Boko Haram beliefs that the best way of destroying Human Development is by grounding it from the root that's why their attacks are mostly associated to literacy, income and life expectancy. Similarly infrastructures were destroyed and many school going children were deprived from attending school. Many schools are converted to internally displaced persons camp among other effects. In conclusion Boko Haram terrorism has made a destructive effect on educational development of the state.
