DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERIZED TRAFFIC OFFENSE SYSTEM: A CASE STUDY OF ADAMAWA STATE
Abstract
The current manual method of documenting traffic offenses in Adamawa State is plagued by data loss, slow retrieval, and susceptibility to corruption. This project designs a web-based Computerized Traffic Offense System to automate the recording, tracking, and payment of traffic fines. Using a MySQL database and a PHP/web-based front end, the system provides a centralized platform for marshals to log offenses and for administrators to generate reports. The result is a more transparent, efficient, and reliable road safety management tool.
